Selling to Amazon as a vendor swaps fees for terms, purchase orders and chargebacks. We help 1P brands keep POs flowing, protect margin in negotiations and grow sell-through with advertising.
What is Amazon Vendor Central?
Vendor Central is the platform used by first-party (1P) suppliers who sell their products wholesale to Amazon, which then sets the retail price and sells to customers. It differs from Seller Central, where third-party (3P) sellers list and sell directly and control their own pricing.
The 1P problems we see most
Purchase orders that drop or stop without warning, chargebacks for shipment and labelling errors that quietly eat margin, unprofitable items Amazon will not reorder, and catalogue changes that vendors cannot push through without a fight.
1P, 3P or hybrid
Some brands do better moving part or all of their range to Seller Central. We will look at your numbers and tell you honestly whether staying 1P, moving to 3P or running a hybrid makes more sense.
