In search results, the main image is the whole listing. Click-through rate is where ranking and revenue start.
Why does the Amazon main image matter so much?
The main image is the only picture shoppers see in Amazon search results, so it largely decides your click-through rate. Higher click-through means more traffic from the same ad spend and stronger ranking signals. It must still follow Amazon’s main image rules.
Why it matters
Amazon requires main images on a pure white background and, for most categories, the product filling most of the frame. Within those rules there is a lot of room to stand out: angle, crop, lighting and what is shown.
We test concepts against what your competitors show on the same results page.
What we do
- Competitor results-page review
- Two or three main-image concepts
- Compliant retouching and composition
- Split testing where Amazon tools allow
- CTR tracking before and after
How we start
1. Review
Where your listing and competitors stand today.
2. Concept
Layout and messaging before pixels.
3. Deliver and test
Final files, then measure and iterate.
